Family and friends of Mr. Jim Boyd gathered on Sunday, November 2 to honor the life of the former Cullman County School Superintendent at the dedication of the new Jim Boyd Outdoor Classroom. Mr. Boyd was a fixture of the community, representing the people of Fairview first as a teacher, and then as Superintendent. Not only a supporter of education, Mr. Boyd was also a farmer and took pride in a strong work ethic and being a āman of the soilā. Family members were present for the ribbon cutting ceremony - his wife, Mrs. Willodean, children Lance Boyd, Susan Boyd Sellers, and Trent Boyd as well as a crowd of in-laws, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and friends. Their hope is that Mr. Boydās love of education and agriculture will continue to grow and flourish in Fairview and beyond. This outdoor classroom space is the result of the work and support of many people, and we would like to extend our sincerest appreciation to those that made this project possible.

Mark your calendars! The Cullman County Cheer Competition is November 15 at Fairview High School!

Senator Garlan Gudger, Rep. Heath Allbright, and Randall Shedd, Director of Constituent Affairs for Alabama Senate President Pro Tempore present a check to Dr. Stapler and Coach Redding for our Football Facility Updates. We would also like to thank Coach Hardman for leading those updates.

Fairview FCCLA members recently participated in the 2025 Cullman County Fair. Members created a fair exhibit educating the public about the dangers of domestic violence and ways to help those affected by domestic violence. Members also entered individual exhibits showcasing sewing, baking, and handicraft skills. Fairview FCCLA members brought home numerous ribbons and exhibitor checks! Thanks so much to the Cullman County Lions Club for their continued support of our local FCCLA chapters.
