Commencement exercises for Hanceville High School Seniors will be Saturday, May 21st, at 10 AM at Tom Drake Coliseum on the campus of Wallace State.
Congratulations to everyone that participated in the Hanceville Special Olympics and thanks to all those who offered help and support to make this event great!
Additional fall sport tryouts will be offered for girls who were in season for softball and track. Tryouts will be on May 9 (volleyball) and May 10 (basketball) from 3:30 to 5 PM. See Coach Bellmon for more information.
HHS Men's Basketball tryouts will be May 12 and 13. See Coach Chandler for more information.
HHS Awards Day is May 6th at 8:15 AM in the Lane Horton Gymnasium. Parents are welcomed to attend this event. Students who will receive awards will be notified at the beginning of next week.
Monday, May 2nd is a virtual learning day for all Cullman County students.
Congratulations to the HHS Scholars Bowl team for the 3rd Place finish at the county tournament. AJ Stephens finished in 4th Place in total individual scores.
We have several reasons to celebrate this week at HHS! The HHS Math team won the state championship. The HHS Men's Track team won the county championship. The HHS Juniors had 100% participation taking the ACT and the HHS Seniors won the spirit point championship. Go Dawgs!

All Cullman County school campuses will dismiss at 12pm on WEDNESDAY 4/6/22 due to the threat of severe weather.
Seniors, graduation is just around the corner! We will begin distributing caps and gowns on Thursday, April 7th, during 7th Period. The $125 senior fee has to be paid before you can receive your cap and gown.

Report cards for the 3rd 9 Weeks were issued this week.
Seniors, you have the opportunity to place a personal page in the HHS Enhancer yearbook to highlight your interests, hobbies, and activities - a page all about you! A full page is $140; a 1/2 page is $80; and a 1/4 page is $60. Email pictures and information to Mrs. Cone (rcone@ccboe.org) by April 15th.

HHS Varsity Cheer Tryouts will be March 21-25. Cheer Clinic will take place from 3:30 to 5 PM on March 21-24. Tryouts will be Friday, March 25, at 3:30 PM. 8th Grade girls can sign up in the HMS Library with Mrs. McGriff and high school girls can sign up in the HHS office or with Mrs. Brown.
HHS Color Guard and Majorette clinics will be April 11th-14th. Please sign up in the HHS Band Room or in the HHS office.
