The 2nd Annual CDC Miss Extraordinary pageant was a great success this past weekend! Thank you to Michelle Johnson, a CDC staff member, for your willingness to serve and organize such a great event! We had a Charity Queen competition that provided items that will go directly back into our classrooms for reinforcements and to help take care of students snack needs, in which many times our teachers use their own money to cover! As you can see, our community surrounded us and pulled together items that will be going directly into our classrooms, and for that, we are so thankful!

This group is completing their first session of their Dual Enrollment course with WSCC to provide them with a college credit and a CCRI! We are so proud of these students and we are grateful for our partnership with Wallace State Community College! #BeCurious

Our 2nd Annual CDC Miss Extraordinary Pageant is right around the corner! Please share and join us at our event to celebrate beauty, confidence and empowerment, where girls of all abilities shine! All proceeds go directly to supporting our Child Development Center students! Thank you to Fairview High School for allowing us to host our event at the Keith E. Pattillo Auditorium at Fairview High School on Saturday, January 18!

We were happy to send off our donations for the hurricane victims today! Our CDC students, staff, PTO, parents and community showed out with providing items of need! We have so many people doing great things for us each and every day, and we were happy to pay it forward! #BeCurious
