Announcements For Tuesday Sept. 30


  • Please look on the Rachel's Challenge Bulletin Board by the office to see what small group you are in.  Your leader will let you know when you will meet.  If you do not see your name on the list please let Mrs. Crumbley know.

  • Anyone interested signing up for the Leo Club should see Coach Simmons tomorrow

Key Club members are needed to work the Cross Country meet on Oct. 7.  Also, Please pick up a list of upcoming events from the basket outside Mrs. Cook's door.

Key Club officers need to meet during B break in Mrs. Cook's classroom.

Student Council will meet Friday during Activity Period.

Science Team: Practice Wednesday morning. Fairview plays Good Hope Wednesday afternoon.

  • The FHS Theatre Department is beginning to prepare for their Fall production of Peter Pan. If you are interested in being a part of this production, either by acting on stage or working back stage, please see Mr. Harbison. You DO NOT have to be in the Theatre class to be a volunteer and become a part of this production.

  • Pep Squad t-shirts are on sale now.  Pep Squad shirts are $50.  Pep Squad membership includes a personalized t-shirt and paid admission to the remaining home football games and all home basketball games.  If you would like to purchase only the  Pep Squad shirt, they are $20.  Purchase a Pep Squad shirt and show your Aggie Pride.  See Mrs. Haynes to purchase.

  • All students in 9-12 and their parents are invited to the Count Down to College Event on October 7th from 6-8 PM at Fairview High School. Potential Magazine is presenting a rountable discussion with various area colleges. Potential Magazine provides parents and students with financial, academic, and career information. Please come and take advantage of this great networking opportunity.

Clubs & Organizations:

  • The Student Council will be selling t-shirts for Breast Cancer Awareness. The cost is $10. All proceeds will go to Breast Cancer Research.

  • Sign-up for Youth for Christ in Mrs. Bailey's room. Dues are $5 and support Christmas Love for Fairview students.




  • Ms. Chandler asks, that you please remember to review Odysseyware and read the email she sent to know about the log-in information. Your input is needed by October 17th.

  • Gate workers are needed for football games.

  • Mr. Gamble, the counselor,  would like to meet with all of the RTI chairpersons on Monday to go over the new forms and procedures. Check in with him for the time and place.

  • Lusk Mobile Wash and Detail has contacted us about cleaning  vehicles here on campus.  

Car - $25, Vacuum, wash, wheels, windows, door jams, shine it up inside.  

Small SUV - $35

3rd Row seating, 4 door trucks - $45

Will wax, also.  

Can do 6 to 10 vehicles per day.
