  • Students going to Six Flags need to pick up a permission form from Ms. Cline and return it by Friday, May 1.

  • Upcoming Senior Drape and Tuxedo pictures for the yearbook for the 2015/16 school year are scheduled for Tuesday and Wednesday, May 12 & 13 at Sullivan's Photography. Juniors may begin scheduling appointment times Monday, April 20 during history classes.  Appointments and payments will be made with Mrs. Cook. The cost is $10 and must be paid by appointment date.  Access students do not forget to see Mrs. Cook about this!

  • Special Olympics is rescheduled for May 6th! Key Club is still selling William's Way bracelets to benefit Mrs. Branch's family. Each bracelet is $2.

  • CRMC is now taking applications for their volunteer program.  Students who will be 11th or 12th graders next year are eligible to apply.  See Mr. Gamble for an application.  Spots are limited.

  • Applications for Student Council Officer and Class Officer are on the FHS website. Applications are due before 5:00 pm on May 5, 2015.

  • Seniors must clear all library debts by May 5th. Return any library books and pay any library fees. Check with Mr. Harbison to see if your name is on the list. You must clear all school debts in order to graduate.


  • Girls track placed 3rd and the boys place 4th. Alexus Lindsey broke the school record in 100 hurdles and Cody Fallin broke the school record in the 1600. Many athletes placed in the top 10 and made PR’s.

  • Medal winners is as follows.

  • Alexus Lindsey placed 1st in 100 hurdles and 2nd in pole vault

  • Tamara Buckelew placed 3rd in pole vault.

  • Khylah Mcleroy placed 3rd in triple jump.

  • Caleb Chambers placed 2nd in the discus.

  • Austin Harris placed 2nd in the javelin

  • Jackson Smith placed 2nd in pole vault

  • Bailey Strong place 1st in pole vault

  • Good Luck At The State Track Meet!!

  • We finished 3rd as a team in the 4A/5A section 3 girls tournament to advance to sub state.  Dalys Mullican shot an 86, Maci Yeager 90, and Aladie Howse 100 for a team score of 276. Top 4 teams and top 4 individuals not on the advancing teams move on.  Sub state will be Tuesday of next week at Twin Pines golf course in Russellville.

    • Also on the Middle School we beat Boaz and Parkside at Chesley Oaks to remain undefeated on the season.  Josh Barnes was our low medalist. Josh shot a 36 (9 holes) 1 over par.
