Students


  • The Chris Bentley and Jonathan Mack Scholarship opportunities end this week.  These applications are for Senior football players and cheerleaders.  An application needs to be picked up today and returned to Coach Redding by Friday of this week.  Please remember all requirements must be met in order to be eligible for the scholarship.

  • Upcoming Senior Drape and Tuxedo pictures for the yearbook for the 2015/16 school year are scheduled for Tuesday and Wednesday, May 12 & 13 at Sullivan's Photography. Juniors may begin scheduling appointment times Monday, April 20 during history classes.  Appointments and payments will be made with Mrs. Cook. Cost is $10 and must be paid by appointment date.  Access students DON'T forget to see Mrs. Cook about this!!

  • The Cullman County FCCLA bowling event will be May 5th, from 6:00 to 8:00. The cost of $17 and includes bowling, 1 fountain drink, T-shirt, & pizza.  FCCLA members should see Mrs. Haynes this week to sign up.

  • Any student interested in applying to be a member of the 2015-2016 Fairview High School Media Department  (Yearbook Staff, AggieVision, or Journalism) should pick up an application in the high school office.  Applications are due today! Turn them in to Mr. Harbison.

  • Cullman Chamber of Commerce is now accepting applications for next year's Youth leadership group.  Students must be in 10th grade this year.

  • Special Olympics is rescheduled for May 6th! Key Club is still selling William's Way bracelets to benefit Mrs. Branch's family. Each bracelet is $2.

  • FFA String Band CD on sale for $10 see Mr. Miller or Aaron Chandler to order yours.

  • CRMC is now taking applications for their volunteer program.  Students who will be 11th or 12th graders next year are eligible to apply.  See Mr. Gamble for an application.  Spots are limited.

  • Applications for Student Council Officer and Class Officer are on the FHS website. Applications are due before 5:00 pm on May 5, 2015.

  • Family and Friends Night - InSPIRESS  - April 23 at 6:00 pm in RM 160. Come out and see the payloads that the InSPIRESS classes are working on.

  • Freshmen Orientation - 6:00 pm April 21




Athletics

  • Everyone going out for JV/V football this year needs to have all paperwork turned into Coach Redding today.


  • Also, Football players: Today is our Cullman Co Combine for all those going out for football.  It will be held at Hanceville HS.  We will leave after homeroom.  Please make sure you have your 2nd Activity Fee paid.  This payment will cover your combine fee.


  • Track Meet Saturday. Starts at 10am be there at 9:30. No Bus.

  • After the 1st day of the Cullman County Golf Tournament our Varsity Boys are in 1st place as a team and Trey Hanvey the individual leader of the tournament.  On the girls side we are in first place as a team and Dalys Mullican is leading the tournament as an individual.  Our 2nd boys team is in 2nd overall in the Varsity division as a team and first in the JV division as a team.  Day 2 is at Cullman Golf Course Thursday beginning at 1pm. Congratulations to our Golf Team, come out and support them for Day 2 is at Cullman Golf Course Thursday, beginning at 1pm.
