Students

  • Strawberry sales are going on right now.  If you are interested in purchasing strawberries this year, please see a football player or cheerleader today.  Limited time to buy.  Sales end Feb. 17

  • Parkside School is holding a Swamp John's Fundraiser for Ronda Harris.  It is Wednesday February 25th from 3 to 6 at the school.  Please call or text 256-708-1643 to get tickets. The cost is $11.00.

  • The ROV team will be selling Hot Beverages in the break room on Wednesday mornings from 7:15 to 7:40.

  • Fairala and Fair Queen forms are now available.  Forms may be picked up in the FACS department or high school office.

  • Chocolate covered strawberries are for sale!  See Mrs. Haynes or order in the office.  They are $15 a dozen.  Last day to order is today!

  • Cheerleader/Mascot Tryout info is on fvh.ccboe.org. Last day to sign up is Feb 7.

  • The school science fair will be Feb. 11-12. Projects must be turned in Feb. 11 before homeroom.

  • If any student is interesting in learning to sing quartet style music see Mr. Miller.  He has a voice coach that comes on Wednesdays after school to work with students.                                             

  • Soup Day will be Friday. Proceeds go to Relay for Life. $5


Athletics

  • If you are interested in signing up for football this year, please see:

Coach Redding for JV/V (grades 8-11)

Coach Rasco for Middle School (graded 6-7)

  • Archery Practice/tryouts will start next Tuesday and Thursday of next week from 3-4:30 in the old gym.    A practice schedule will be given at that time.  

  • Track team members:

    • Spirit pack order forms are in the office.  Forms are due back today,  Feb. 6th.

  • Soccer: Player fees, sponsor ads, and eligibility forms are due now.  Return to Coach Feldner ASAP.

  • Our first soccer game is an away game. Fairview Varsity Girls against Cullman Tuesday, February 10 at 5:00. Varsity Boys and Girls play at home on February 26 against Brewer with girls at 5:00 and boys at 7:00.

  • The first baseball game is February 17 against Danville.
