  • We will have the large group Rachel’s Challenge meeting on Friday during activity period.  All FOR group members and teacher small group leaders are encouraged to attend.

  • Anyone interested signing up for the Leo Club should see Coach Simmons ASAP.

  • Key Club members are needed to work the Cross Country meet on Oct. 7.  Also, Please pick up a list of upcoming events from the basket outside Mrs. Cook's door.

  • Student Council will meet Friday during Activity Period.

  • The FHS Theatre Department is beginning to prepare for their Fall production of Peter Pan. If you are interested in being a part of this production, either by acting on stage or working backstage, please see Mr. Harbison. You DO NOT have to be in the Theatre class to be a volunteer and become a part of this production.

  • Pep Squad t-shirts are on sale now.  If you would like to purchase only the  Pep Squad shirt, they are $20.  Purchase a Pep Squad shirt and show your Aggie Pride.  See Mrs. Haynes to purchase.

  • All students in 9-12 and their parents are invited to the Count Down to College Event on October 7th from 6-8 PM at Fairview High School.  Students in alll grades are welcome and invited to attend. Potential Magazine is presenting a roundtable discussion with various area colleges. Potential Magazine provides parents and students with financial, academic, and career information. Please come and take advantage of this great networking opportunity.  Don’t miss out on this awesome opportunity!

Clubs & Organizations:

  • The chess team will meet every Friday during Activity Period in the library.

  • The Student Council will be selling t-shirts for Breast Cancer Awareness. The cost is $10. All proceeds will go to Breast Cancer Research.

  • Sign-up for Youth for Christ in Mrs. Bailey's room. Dues are $5 and support Christmas Love for Fairview students.


Friday, October 3rd the football team will be facing the Madison County Bulldogs at 7 pm. Go Aggies!  Beat the Bulldogs!

There is a volleyball match against Holly Pond today at Holly Pond High School.  Go out and support your Lady Aggies.  Go Aggies, Beat the Broncos!  



  • Ms. Chandler asks, that you please remember to review Odysseyware and read the email she sent to know about the log-in information. Your input is needed by October 17th.

  • Gate workers are needed for football games.

  • Lusk Mobile Wash and Detail has contacted us about cleaning  vehicles here on campus.  Contact Mrs. Smith if you are interested.
